About Cash for Classrooms
The Cash for Classrooms Grant is designed to help educators bring enriching experiences to the classroom through financial support. Eligible expenses include classroom supplies and equipment that directly support student learning.
Guidelines
- Cash for Classrooms can be used for classroom supplies and equipment
- Applicants must apply with their own computer and district login
- Teacher aides may not apply
- Grant purchases belong to DSD, not the individual teacher

The following items are not eligible for funding:
Grant Categories
You may apply for only one of the grants below:
Full-time Licensed Teachers, Counselors & Librarians
Up to $200 for consumables. DonorsChoose ships materials directly to the school once the project is fully funded.
Part-time Licensed Teachers, Counselors & Librarians
Up to $100 for consumables. Same guidelines as full-time grants.
Elementary Prep Specialists
Applications available for: PE, Computer, DEEP, Library, Art/Music, and STEM specialists.
Related Servers
Items must support multiple students and not be for a single IEP student.
